Officers' Reports:  No Officer or Committee Reports are given – See New Business Below

 

New Business:

 

1.  Proposed revised By-Laws to be approved:

a.  Presented in 2007 but not voted upon

          b.  Need help to enter new position "Liaison to IAD Board" - election for this 

               position is held every odd year before the IAD Conference

c.  Need help to change in Article VIII - Section 3 - Election. Need to change  

     January to possibly BEFORE March 1 of that year or any other suggestions.

 

2.  Motion: HIAD’s 10^th Anniversary Event during 2008 Thanxmas Event 

a.  Location for November 22, 2008

          b.  Fund Raising possibility

c.  Any other details that need to be discussed

 

3.   Purchasing a LCD Projector:

          a.  Best Buy currently has a model that would benefit HIAD at the low cost of

               $849.99. 

          b.  If HIAD is granted the permission to make this purchase BEFORE any fund

               raising were made -- possibly can ask for donation to cover this purchase

               AT the Thanksmas Dinner.

 

FYI: There will be No afternoon workshop at this time due to the short notice of necessary emergency meeting only.
