Heartland Chapter of Illinois
Association of the Deaf was established in 1998.
A special thanks goes to Leon Devriendt (IAD President
1997-1999) for his patience and effort for helping the Central Illinois
group of people to establish their own chapter under Illinois Association of
the Deaf.
The following pioneers took up new positions within this new
chapter as officers were:
